Tara R. Horn, MD, FACOG Dr. Horn is a native Kentuckian and has been a practicing physician for over twenty years. She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and opened her own practice originally called Women’s Care of Somerset in 2011.
She is a valedictory graduate of Sheldon Clark High School, an honors graduate of Morehead State University and the University of Louisville School of Medicine. She completed her residency at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville where she served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Horn is the recipient of the University of Tennessee’s Chairman’s Award, the Albert W. Diddle Award, the Excellence in Teaching Award and the Research Presentation Award.
She has a passion for adolescent gynecology and worked for the Lake Cumberland Children’s Advocacy Center for many years.
She is the proud daughter of retired teachers, and the wife of local attorney Dan Yeast. Her hobbies include boating, traveling and spending time with her children in addition to reading historical fiction.
Dr. Horn loves her many patients and feels blessed to be living her dream of practicing medicine.
