Moleskin

Moleskin is a soft fabric with a thin layer of felt attached to a sticky backing. It is used most often on the feet to protect the skin from rubbing against itself or footwear and is also used to help cushion the feet.

After an affected area is washed and dried, the sticky side of moleskin can be applied so that it covers the area. Moleskins can protect blisters when they are cut in a ring shape that encircles the blister. The adhesive should not be stuck to broken or raised skin.
